New Real Estate Agent

Step #1:

Interview with a Prudential PenFed Realty manager nearest you or contact our career counselor at 1-800-481-9976 or e-mail career@penfedrealty.com. We can answer your questions about getting your real estate career started.

Step #2:

Determine which real estate license you will need.

Currently, in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia you must take a 60 hour licensing class and then pass a state licensing exam.

Step #3:

Register for the "Principles and Practices of Real Estate" course offered by Prudential PenFed Realty. This course is required before you can take the state examination.

Step #4:

Immediately initiate taking your state exam after completing your class. The Carruthers Academy will provide you the information you need to register for your licensing exam.

Step #5:

Join Prudential PenFed Realty or PCR Referral Company.

Step #6:

Take the Real Estate Business Basics class—the PenFed Realty REALTORS® complete new agent training program.

Step #7:

Work with your Prudential PenFed Realty manager to continue to develop your new real estate career.
